Just stopped working. can't get it to start up. It had been acting funny and freezing but last night it just went blank. Bought in 2018 should have lasted a bit longer. It was awesome when it worked.

We recently purchased a Frigidaire professional microwave, airfryer, convection oven, with an exhaust fan for above our stove. I love it! It not only frees up space on my counter but now I basically have 2 ovens! No more problems with big dinner crowds. The fan has different level and is much quieter than my old vent. The lights are levelers as well. The microwave has every function and is so easy to use..Best buy ever!

Great microwave!! Lots of space to put large items in to warm up! Also is a convection oven which is supper cool!! You can put metal in this microwave in the convection mode! Super happy with this microwave!!

Bought this microwave as an appliance package in 2018. Had to replace it under warranty in 2020 because the door broke. And now in 2023 I am having to replace it again because it completely stopped working, the electric board on it froze and there's no fix. When it works, it's a great microwave. But it will break on you, its not made to last.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This microwave works great when it works. I have purchased 2 of these because the break the month after the warranty runs out. The board just says unplug. Don't waste your money. I am disappointed in Frigidaire.

Less than 12 months cooking fan is not working. Makes grinding noise and moisture condenses so bad the water runs down the glass door when cooking even a few plates of bacon. Most of the time it just groans and stops entirely. Numbers and letters on the controls are not back-lit so it's difficult to program in a dimly lit environment. Tried six times to contact warrantee department at different times and alway get a recording saying to try again later due to high volume of calls. We purchased all new, "professional" line appliances spending eight thousand dollars and cannot even get someone to speak to us about the defective microwave.

I would not recommend this microwave or Frigidaire in general. I have had this microwave for 22 months and it stopped working. That is unacceptable for such a pricey microwave to stop working in less than 2 years. There are many reviews of customers who experience the same issue.

Lasted a little over a year and stopped working. I've had nothing but problems with my professional series appliances. Microwave stopped working, range burners only get hot on back side of each burner oven gets way hotter that temperature shows , refegarator freezes and ruins food if you turn it down 1 degree then milk sours because it's not cold enough, dishwasher doesn't get anything clean leaves soap and ruins pots and pans it stopped working the day I got it and after multiple repair people showed up I found out the motor was rusted bad but still doesn't wash even after new motor

Pros:Excellent over-range lightingQuiet operationAbove-average convection oven. Well-lit interior. Convenient placing of control input buttons. Very solid feel when closing door which requires little effort. 4-speed exhaust fan. Cons:Absolutely inadequate audio alert volume; inaudible even with volume on high and in an otherwise quiet room. Audio alert beeps once at cycle completion. Just once and does not repeat. Totally unacceptable. Timer has no audio alert sound at all. Totally unacceptable. Control inputs are not intuitive. Just mildly annoying. Closing door results in ™random™ spurious cook times if 1-3 digits which must be cancelled manually to prevent empty microwave from starting. Cannot use ammonia-based cleaner on door (such as Windex)Peculiar turntable speed of 5 rpm not a multiple of 30 seconds which may result in awkward placing of food container at end of cycle. An example is coffee cup handle in back of oven if heated 30 seconds.

We bought this model less than 3 years ago. We've had multiple problems, similar to other 1-star reviews here. First, the input panel is on the door and the electronic cable that carries the signal threads through a small plastic part in the door, and frequently gets pinched. Often, the panel does not respond to inputs. That's frustrating.However, today, when we went to use it, the door handle ripped right off and the pictures look exactly like others here that show a broken door handle. Worst microwave we've ever bought, and it cost us $600. Frigidiare made a really stinker in this model. We know they can make decent products because our fridge/freezer is over 20 years old and still works.

That's all we got with the Frigidaire Professional 1.8 model.Control panel froze and would no longer respond after a hard reset.Control panel is no longer available and if it was would cost more($800) than the whole unit cost us to start with. Will be looking at all brands as we replace as we hope to get a little longer life on the next one.

Sadly our above range microwave died and we needed a replacement asap. We found the Frigidaire model that met our needs & expectations. The least desirable aspect was traveling 250 miles by car, and then getting it across the lake to our island. So far we are pleased and would recommend this model™¦.no matter how far you need to take it!??

We have been disappointed in this microwave a few times now, but tonight takes the cake. The first couple of times our microwave stopped working, the whole left side of the front panel stopped working. It was inconvenient but some features were usable. Then the right side stopped working, which essentially made this useless because we could not stop or start cooking. We eventually got it fixed and it worked fine. Tonight I tried reheating something for 15 seconds and when I tried to open the microwave door, the handle broke off. This microwave is more trouble than it™™s worth and I™™m not even sure how to get the door open without a handle.

The microwave itself works like a dream. The poor design or construction of having a metal handle with PLASTIC brackets over a range to attach the handle is awful! The plastic is not resistant, the plastic must warp and somehow. We have owned our microwave for just 5 years and the handle has come off 2x already. We don™™t use the microwave all that much and there are only 3 people in our house. Poor construction! The brackets should be made of silicone or something that can withstand heat and not warp.

Just stopped working during the middle of popping popcorn. I have some technical ability so I troubleshot all of the simple stuff and that is all fine, to include the 20 amp fuse. I got the whole Frigidaire Professional package with my new home, and everything else has been pretty good with a few minor flaws here and there. But this is ridicules. My unit was manufactured in Jan 2021, and I closed on my home in June of 2021. Now I am out of warranty and really in a position when I have to try and find one like it to match everything else. I found one online to purchase (US Appliance), but not happy about it. Want to be able to plug and play with install so this is my best bet. Someone will hopefully read this from Frigidaire and maybe offer to pay for my new one. You guys got me good! (Twice).

I like everything about the microwave except the volume of the timer. I have the Audio setting on high but it is still too low. I barely hear it if something is cooking or I'm not standing RIGHT there.

After 15 months of normal use, it stopped working. Repair person found oil inside the part containing the wiring which is a fire hazard. The poor design does not separate the area with wiring from the area of air intake from cooking below. Do not buy this model. Extended warranty was unwilling to cover this.

Broke after 3 years !!! It's so expensive to fix that it makes more sense to buy a new one. As far as a microwave, it's beautiful and worked well but I don't know how I can justify the cost of replacing it with another.
