My house is about 1500 square feet, two-story. I have this unit in the window on the main floor and another unit in the window upstairs (same brand, different model) and between the two of them they keep the house cooled down. It may not get chilly, except in the rooms that they're in...but I'm happy with them.

I have to say it is one of the best window A/C units I have ever bought. The Wifi and Mobile App are so useful especially when I'm away from home because I can control the A/C temperature, Fan speed, and Cooling mode. I can even turn it on or off through the app. The 12,000 BTU A/C cools my 2 bedroom small home completely. The installation was very simple and setting up the Wifi and mobile app as well. Great warranty as well. I would definitely buy another Frigidaire in the future.

It's ok.and quiter than some. But has drawbacks

The real truth. It Works and does lower the humidity but takes longer to cool and runs longer to even reach 74 when its only 84 outside. The air coming out the vents is not as cold as what comes out of my 5 yo other brand with 12,000 btu (4-5 degrees less) thats in another room, maybe cause refrigerant used now is different kind. Also it doesn't show the estimated room temp it only displays what temp you set it at. I don't care about the whole control panel going black after a few seconds. It's not that bright to disturb sleep. Lastly the remote did not work out of the box maybe battery was already dead. Going try new battery. Remote very cheaply made. Disappointed after Frigidaire having such a longstanding good reputation. Peaking down in top vents when installing the condensor fan looks plastic. Control panel is cheap as well but so are most all brands these days, probably will go out in a few years. I miss older units with knobs and buttons. It's May so the real heat is yet to come. But might buy another brand next year if it doesn't perform well this summer.

We love our window AC. The apartment is about 900 sq ft and it gets so cold so fast! The apartment never gets hot unless we turn it off. We have it on Eco setting and we love that when it hits a certain degree it turns back on to cool the place up!

This window ac was easy to install, and to use. It performs well, runs quiet and looks nice. I do wish the digital display stayed on rather than going to ™sleep™ which requires touching a button on the unit to display, because I am too short to reach it. This is very inconvenient.

I chose my AC because of the cooling capacity as well as the features it has. Other brands were not able to use WIFI to adjust the settings. For me, this is important as I have pets at home and work 11 hours at night. Last night, it was 82 outside when I left for work, and it went down to 65. I was able to turn my AC to fan only which prevented it from getting too cold and running my AC for no reason. I can also lower the temps if it gets hotter when I™™m away so they are comfortable. That was a huge selling point. My brother owns a Frigidaire, and it has been trouble-free for years. I bought this one because of the trusted name, the convenience, and because I know it will keep me and my pets cool when I need it the most.

So far so good! Used to have a smaller GE unit and it gave in so I was looking for a replacement. Could not have asked for a better fix! The app integration and simplicity of the design make this a delight to use. I'm yet to get my first electric bill but so far it's been a couple 100+ degree days and the unit keeps up like a champ. Hope I won't come to regret having a more powerful unit but at least I'm keeping cool. Would buy again!
